Wednesday, Sept 1, 2010

This last week I had to repair the steering gear box on my old tractor. The key word being repair, meaning put back into original working order or to rebuild it so as to function as it was originally intended. This is something that I had never worked on before, so I went on line and downloaded the owner’s/repair manual for this piece of equipment. Yes, it took me a while, but in the end by following the manufacturer’s instructions, it is now back in good working order.

It actually dawned on me last night that I had accomplished more in one week than Barrack Obama has accomplish in almost 2 years. And with basically the same available tools-an owners manual.

You see, I didn’t try to change anything in this steering box because when it is in good working order, it does just what it was designed to do. I didn’t try to make it steer my neighbors tractors or limit when their tractors could steer or charge them for the parts I had to buy. I simply followed the instructions in the owners manual and now my tractor is back steering in the direction that I want it to go. (Ah, you crafty devils. You see where I’m going with this already!)

When Barrack Obama took over the presidency, he had the same opportunity that I had. He could have seen the country for what it is and made the decision to repair it. He could have followed the directions in our nations owners manual and put us back in good working order. But, he did not. He chose to change things in a way that he thought would work better. He tossed aside the document that explains how to best run a free and ordered society and went head long into modifying instead of refurbishing a system that has been steadily abused, over burdened and over stressed for quite some time. And the result is: He hasn’t accomplished a damned thing except create more and greater damage than that with which he started out with.

Any system that is made to do more than it is capable of doing, will eventually, cease to function.

America and my tractor are very similar. They are both designed to do a job and if kept in good working order and not jerry-rigged to do something they were not designed to do, they will last for a long, long time. But America’s steering is very badly broken and without sound steering, we will meander around until we hit something that will destroy the rest of our great nation.

We must repair our Nation’s steering and we must do it by following the owner’s manual that the Framer’s gave us-The Constitution of the United States of America.

Foxnews.com is reporting that the Dept. of Agriculture is going to try a pilot program that will give the poor a 30% discount on fruits and vegetables. The program will take place in the State of Mass. and will target 7500 families in Hamden County, who are on food stamps, at an estimated cost of $20 million. (20,000,000 divided by 7500=$2667 per family)

According to Fox, 30 cents for every $1 spent on fruits and veggies will be refunded back to the participating recipient’s food stamp debit card. How nice.

Does this mean, if I see some Weed stuffing his or her face full of Popeye’s Chicken I can slap that bad food out of their hands and smash a tomato all over their face? It should. I like the rest of you, who are working your butts off and going backwards, am getting a belly full of this re-distribution bull shit. And the sad part about this is that the truly habitual losers of society aren’t interested in eating better. It takes a little effort to get up off the couch and fix a decent meal and these people (and you all know who I’m talking about) are too bone assed lazy to do that.

These bureaucrats and politicians know damned well that the General Welfare clause of our Constitution does not pertain to the first week of every month, but they will stand in front of the cameras, knowing full well that you know this too, and tell you that it does. It is time to get pro-active. This crap has got to stop.

Remember back when the SEIU was busing people in to picket the homes of bankers and terrorize their families? Maybe we should find out who these individual bureaucrats are and do the same thing to them. But unfortunately, unlike the SEIU scum, we would be arrested for harassment. We could, however, find out who they are and post their pictures and addresses everywhere possible. You know, strictly for therapeutic purposes. Loosen their bowls up a little just to keep our public servants regular and healthy.

In the mean time, the Obamas are starting their next vacation. Really? When did the last one stop? Anyway, ten days in Martha’s Vineyard and I doubt they are going to eat nothing but watercress sandwiches.

First we had to suffer the idiotic demands by Babs Streisand that her hotel toilet have rose petals floating in it.
Ok… supply her with ‘recycled toilet paper.’ Better yet, since the queen of uncleanliness advocates using only one square per sitting, send her your used toilet paper (wet or dry, who cares) and let her go through it to find a clean square.

Genetically defective? I don’t know. Your guess is as good as mine.

Thursday, Aug 12, 2010

This piece is from Monday, Aug 9, but due to technical problems I was unable to post it until today.

Because I hate listening to commercials and get tired of hitting the mute button and then trying to guess when the program will come back on, I like to wait until the evening and listen to Mark Levin\’s radio show after it has been archived. But on this Monday Levin obviously needed to tend to some personal business and (as you might already know) had asked Inga Barks, a local talker, from California’s Central Valley, to fill in. I really didn’t know much about Inga, and was genuinely impressed with the way she politely cut liberal callers down to size.

The running theme Inga chose for this show centered, specifically, around the pay scandal that the city of Bell, Ca. has found itself embroiled in and in general, the fact that government employees earn nearly twice as much as their private sector counterparts. In the course of this discussion Inga took a call from one man who was trying to justify his bloated government paycheck and his reasoning not only turned my stomach, but made me wonder how many other SOBs have the same twisted logic.

What this ”pimple on societies ass” said should raise your hackles too, and it was this: “I put 20 years into jobs in the private sector and I deserve the pay and benefits I get (from my government job)…” Inga did do a pretty good job of trying to tell this pin head that his money comes from tax payers, but for the most part, she missed taking a grand slam swing at a big, fat, hanging, curve ball. This bastard was just ripe for plucking.

I mean, what kind of self centered piece of human feces thinks that because he put time in the private sector he deserves to leach off of the rest of us with better pay, perks and benefits. And you know damned good and well, that the bulk of government jobs consist of sitting on your ass deciding whether to actually do some work or surf some porn on the Internet at the tax payers expense. It’s been proven more than once because slobs like this guy have been caught doing this on several occasions. And how many times has it not been reported in the news?

After 25 yrs. in the trucking industry, I felt I had gained enough knowledge to try my hand at running my own show. To become an independent owner operator and run my own small company. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I had earned an overpaid, cushy, driving job with Uncle Sam. Hell, I took a withdrawal card from the Teamsters union some 30 years ago, because, all I kept hearing from them was “You don’t have to do that” or “You have a right not to work more than…” I can only imagine what it would be like to drive for the government and just about all the drivers I’ve ever met think the same way I do.

But this sick mentality that “I deserve” more pay than you and oh, by the way, you’ll also be footing the bill for my paycheck, has got to stop. Especially when you consider that government does not produce anything… zip, zilch, nada with the exception of headaches for us in the private sector.

I know… I know. Hindsight is 20/20. We’ve all been there and looked back and thought of the things we should have said or done and I’m sure Inga did the same about this jerk. But boy, if there were ever a disgusting, self serving, liberal bastard that needed to be slapped down hard, it was this moron.

Oh wait, all liberals need to be slapped down, don’t they?

Remember in November!

Friday, Aug 6, 2010

The world we live in is a symphony of sound and taken individually, some sounds are pleasing and some are not. A large number of unpleasant sounds are monotonous and droning. One note songs, if you will. But not all one note songs are irritating or unpleasant. The buzzing of insects on the first warm spring day after a long cold winter is a welcome sound indeed and the constant roar of the ocean can calm nerves and relax tense muscles in an instant.

But the unpleasant one note songs can even test the patients of the Dahle Llama himself. A Jackhammer outside your window can make you have visions of homicide and the incessant yapping of a neighbor’s dog can turn good friends into devout enemies in short order. But the whining of a spoiled rotten little child that is not getting its way, can turn almost all of us into a quivering lump of anger with no place to vent.

America has been forced to endure the one note song of a whinny, spoiled, little child for the last year and a half and it looks like were in for even more of “It’s all Bush’s fault.” Even those in his own Party are trying to avoid having contact with the spoiled, whinny, immature Barrack Obama. And, evidently, this childish man has decided that the Democrats should run against George W. Bush again (in November.) Obama has now increased the pettiness of his whining, by choosing to use the former President’s name; something that is rarely (if ever) done, as a matter of respect.

It doesn’t matter to Barrack Obama that we understand the fact that after 18 months in office, he owns the economy; he owns Afghanistan; he owns the unemployment mess; and he owns the fact that his Party is more than likely going to lose big, in the next elections. No, it doesn’t matter to Obama. He’s mad because the idol worship has stopped. He’s no longer making weak kneed little liberals faint and school children have stopped singing songs of praise to him.

So prepare yourself America, for even more non-stop, whinny, lies; one after another from a spoiled rotten, whinny, childish President. Especially, as it dawns on him that those plumeting poll numbers are, indeed, real.

Thursday, Aug 5, 2010

I’m not going to get into the ruling that, an obviously biased, Judge Walker handed down nulifiying California’s vote to ban homosexual marriage. That’s already been sliced, diced and dissected by people who are much more informed about the Constitution than I am. I do know, Walker’s use of the 14th Amendment to rule against the people of California was wrong. The 14th Amendment was not added to our governing document to address sexual preference of any kind. But Walker knows this too. He is just another radical leftist intent on reshapingsociety in his own image, which just happens to trash the Constitution in the process (as is the same with all the other left wing radicals.)

For the time being, though, I do have an idea that can bring a little peace of mind to the majority of people who still see the sanctity of marriage as being between one man and one woman. It’s really very simple. Change the wording of your vows to include a stipulation that your marriage is the only marriage recognized by God and over 2,000 years of worldwide tradition.

Oh, I’m sure this would enrage those who are intent on normalizing an abnormal behaviour and they probably would file more lawsuits. But who cares at this point? Besides, the States don’t give a hoot what you say for your marriage vows, they’re only interested in getting that money for the license and people write their own vows all the time.

If the liberals and the homosexuals want to destroy our beliefs and traditions by forcing there life styles into the middle of them, force them back out withjust the smallest of changes. Different vows, meaningful rings, it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that we maintain our beliefs and faith.

Wednesday, Aug 4, 2010

Yes, Missouri opened the floodgates and the people astonished the liberal establishment with a 71% vote against Obama’s un-Constitutional Health care law. But it isn’t how the socialistic apparatchik press is already trying to spin this as “just a bunch of Tea Party rednecks” out to make it look like the whole country is against Obama care. It is about much more than that.

This landslide vote in favor of Proposition C, in Missouri, is just the beginning of a nation’s people gathering ourselves up to fight this Socialist tyranny that our elected leaders have sold us out for. It is “We the People” loudly shouting, ”ENOUGH!” Enough of appointing sleazy little Marxists bureaucrats, in the dead of night. Enough of Congress passing Bills without even reading them. Enough handing money out for votes. Enough of your judges ruling against precedence and the law itself. Enough of your refusal to protect our nation’s borders. And enough of you trying to tell us what to eat, what kind of light bulb to use, what kind of toilet to crap in, how hot or cold we can keep our homes and how we can raise our own children.

You liberals can tell yourselves that the results of Missouri’s vote on Prop C is just an anomaly, but you are just deluding yourselves if you do. You would have to ignore some pretty hard facts to come to the conclusion that Robert Gibbs and your lap-dog press would have everyone believe. Facts such as Obama’s poll numbers slipping to an all time low of 41%. The fact that 68% of the voting public supports Arizona’s new imigration law, SB 1070. Can you ignore Congress’ measly 11% approval rating? Or how about that unemployment rate of 9.5%? Just like the guy on the late night TV commercial, I say, ”But wait! There’s much more!”

That’s right, there is more. All of the things I’ve listed in this rant, aren’t just aimed at the liberals. You Republican law makers had better pull your heads out of your asses too. For the most part, you have been stumbling around dazed and confused thinking that you’re going to win just because people have become so fed up with Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the Democrat trash. Wrong. Listen to and understand what the people are saying to you. We are giving you your agenda and if you take the challenge and go with it, you will win.

It is vitally important that all of you, over at the RNC, understand this: If you win big this November and again in 2010, you had better not go back to business as usual. If you do, you will get your collective head served to you on a platter. And that will set the stage for another liberal, left wing take over, a la Ross Perot.

I am a firm believer, if we do not start dismantling this grossly, over bloated federal government and get back to a limited constitutional government, we will find ourselves embroiled in a civil war, just like any other third world country. And if that happens, any blood shed as a result will be as much on the hands of the Republican leadership as on the hands of our Marxist antagonists. This may well be the last chance we have to save the one true beacon of liberty on this planet.

Let the Democrats worry about how their own Party has been taken over by left wing radicals. We need to take back the Republican Party from the Lindsay Grahams, Olympia Snows and John McCains. In the mean time, urge your State’s legislators to reject Obama care, cap and trade, tax increases, the oil embargo and more bail-outs. Make them understand, that Arizona’s law should become your state’s law.

Get involved in the shaping of our destiny, because our destiny involves the shape of things we leave our children.

Tuesday, Aug 3, 2010

In an article in the stltoday.com, the City of East St. Louis has announced that it will be cutting their police and fire fighters by 30% because the city is broke. But in all fairness, they did offer the pollice and firefighters a package that would allow them to keep their jobs but take 2 unpaid leave days per pay period, but it was rejected by their public employees unions.

So now, East St Louis, Ill. will now add itself to the long and growing list of towns using the threat of cutting emergency services, to wheedle more tax money out of citizens that are already broke because of bloated and excessive government (do not doubt that this is coming.) Yes, the police and fire fighters get cut before Mayor Alvin L. Parks would ever consider not throwing a party for Miles Davis’ 84th birthday (yes, at the public’s expense.) Or cutting the staff of the community redevelopment dept., that has more employees than a lot of small businesses (11). Or, how about cutting back the East St. Louis Housing Authority? How about that Finance Dept.? Think they could trim down a little in order to keep a couple of cops on the street? Maybe shut down their library, if need be? Hell no!

Mayor Parks readily points out that their riverboat gambling casino took in $900,000 less than the previous year, but continues to spend money on community redevelopment projects. Just like Ann Arbor, Mich. who had $800,000 available to install a water sculpture in front of their new City Hall, but not enough to pay police and firemen, the fat cats in the East St. Louis city government can’t be expected to give up some of those goodies they worked so hard to get. And don’t expect Mayor Parks to tell his cousin Leon, (propped up by a broom over at public works) that he’s being let go either.

Things aren’t all bad in East St. Louis though. You can still get your fence fixed or have graffiti painted over, FOR FREE, because that is one of many federal programs that are available for the good folks of East St. Louis. Just… not police protection.

By the way, isn’t that little community that lured police and firemen (around the 4th of July) out to fake calls of fire and murder only to attack them with bottle rockets and roman candles, right around there? Alton, yeah that’s it. Just up the road a couple of miles.

And if memory serves me, when I was still trucking, wasn’t there a billboard on the north side of the freeway coming into East St. Louis, that someone had spray painted “Whittie keep out”? That was back around the year 1999 or so and it stayed up there for quite a long time. Nice community.

Organized crime can’t hold a candle to liberal Democrats in power.
