Hi, all

My name is Rahm…Er, Ellie. Ellie Light. You remember me, I’m the one who wrote all those “letters to the Editor”[s] supporting my hero, President Obama. Well, I just wanted to let you know that I have been very busy writing more letters, to help out our progressive cause.

When I heard that President Obama invited those icky Republicans to join in the health care debate, I knew my services would be needed once again. And what better way to help out than by giving our Democrat Congress persons factual instances of how corrupt the insurance companies are and how unfair the current health care system is. So, I sat down, rolled up my sleeves, and started writing.

Now, I know, you may be thinking, that’s dishonest. But I say no It’s not. We all know these horrible things go on every day. In fact, I’ve heard, 30 million people die every month because they don’t have and can’t get health care insurance. We also know, these poor people are so under-educated, that, they cannot be expected to write their own letters. Someone has to stand up for them. (Please, don’t get me started on how the extreme right forces these poor young people into parenthood and out of school, by denying them their God given right to abortion).

In any event, I am so proud to have helped out our wonderful, progressive cause and serve our Dear Leader once again. You too can help. Remember, our President needs you to flood those neo-con talk radio shows with your phone calls. Call often, (like you vote) and never let on that you’re really a liberal (tell them you voted for McCain) but, tell them you support the President’s health care plan.

Well, that’s all for now. I will try to give you another update, when I have the time.

P.S. Hope you liked the letter about the lady who was forced to wear her dead sister’s false teeth. I thought that was a really nice touch (and you know that this had to have happened somewhere!) Wasn’t Louise Slaughter wonderful for reading it?

I was listening to Rush this morning, when my mid-morning coffee was interrupted by a caller to the show (a black man) named Anthony, who was about as full of hate as anyone I’ve heard in long, long time. He started out by telling Rush the only way he could make his point was by asking a question. And then what followed can only be interpreted as a threat. A threat intentionally directed at white people.

Here is the main part of the transcript that Rush has posted on his web site:

CALLER:  Yeah, I want to make a comment but I’d like to ask you a question because this is a way I can get my point across.  Rush, if you put a mouse in the same box as a snake, what would you think would happen?

RUSH:  If I put a mouse in the same box as a snake…

CALLER:  What would you take out?  The snake will attack because that’s his natural instinct.  You have a lot of people calling your show.  They applaud you, they praise you, they make you feel like you’re walking on water, when actually you’re sinking in quicksand.  You do all this knocking about Barack Obama, holding Barack Obama to a double standard, when the man has been in office a year, and he’s supposed to solve all of America’s problems.  And Barack Obama — and I see America heading in the right direction.  I’m not going to agree with you.  I’m not going to go along with you just to get along, because this is who I am.  But I will say that Barack Obama is doing a great job.  It is the Republican Party that is dividing the United States of America.  And I will also say that, if all these people knocking, hating, criticizing Barack Obama, if anything happens to Barack Obama, God have mercy on the United States of America. Like Jeremiah Wright said: “God damn America,” and I’m for real with you.

Now that’s fucked up. Rush couldn’t respond to Anthony, since the cheap piece of crap hung up. And Rush couldn’t say what needs to be said to assholes like Anthony, without degrading his show. I understand that.

But I can. So the rest of this post will be directed at all the Anthonys and Anthony-etts out their:

For the last 5 decades, the majority of white Americans have been telling all the bigots and racists to go pound sand. We’ve been telling them, there’s no place for their kind in America any more. And, we didn’t ask for or expect anything other than the peaceful co-existance between our races. But we did get something more than that. We got Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, Sheila Jackson Lee and Maxine Waters, we got ACORN and the Democrats telling us how unfair we were treating black people. And yes, we got the Rev. Wright and millions of assholes like you Anthony. Spiting on us, telling us every day, how evil we are.

And we got even more than all that Anthony. We got your kids skulking around at night, robbing and shooting us and each other. Some bargain, huh, Anthony?

The fact is: White Americans are fed up with your’s and your buddy’s, ungracious attitude towards the people who stood with you during the civil rights movement and your despicable treatment of our Nation as a whole.

There are some other facts, that all you Anthonys and Anthony-etts need to know: Gun sales have skyrocketed in the last year. In fact, they have gone up 400% in most all states since Obama took office. When asked why they purchased a firearm, most stated, “self defense.”

Another more important fact is this: Whites make up 74% of the total population in the United States. Black Americans constitute 13.5% of America and even if you combined your efforts with Hispanics (14%) you still only comprise less than 28% of the population. Not very good odds if you’re intent on picking a fight. 

My point? Go ahead and think of yourself as a bad ass old snake. Make it a King Cobra, one of the baddest snakes on the block. Cuz many a Cobra has made the fatal mistake of thinking a mongoose was a mouse.

My advice? Maybe you should stick to the King Cobra in the brown paper bag, Anthony. In the long run, it may just be healthier for you.

IRS to buy tactical shotguns

A couple of days old news but, yeah, it’s still some pretty weird shit to ponder. Why does the IRS need tactical weapons? And as Tammy Bruce points out, your average tax dodge is more than likely to be white collar and not some militia survivalist type (although, the later is starting to make more and more sense.)

And as usual, if you google this information, don’t expect to see any stories on this by the MSM. Nope, just posts by a bunch of us ”right-wing nut jobs.” Gee, I wonder why that is.

Barack Chavez

Barack Obama managed to piss off the people of Nevada again (and yes, Harry Reid just sits there drooling) by telling everyone that “You don’t blow a bunch of cash on Las Vegas…”. Well, to be fare, that was only part of what he said. The rest reads like this:

“You don’t go buying a boat when you can barely pay your mortgage,” Obama said. “You don’t blow a bunch of cash on Vegas when you’re trying to save for college. You prioritize. You make tough choices.”

Yeah, this is true. But, Obama and the Democrats are mainly responsible for the disastrous economic situation we find ourselves in at the present time and Nevada doesn’t need the President telling people to stay away. Remember, as a Senator, Obama voted “present” or with his party on every bill that started our economy toward a downward spiral. And as President, he continues to spend our nation into oblivion, with trillions of $$$ in more bailouts, more government employees and all the while living a lifestyle of the “Rich and Famous.”

But wait, there’s more. Obama is also proposing the biggest annual budget (1.5 trillion) this country has ever seen; and, puts us on a track for future budgets somewhere near $10 trillion over the next ten years. He knows we don’t have the money for this, so, who the hell does he think he is, to tell us that we need to tighten our belts in tough times? He has made bad times worse with his Utopian socialist agenda. And what was that he said about government run health care last week? “I will not quit.”

Barack Obama knows nothing about managing money. Socialists never do.

The only difference between Barack Obama and Hugo Chavez is: Chavez openly admits to forcing Venezuela into becoming a socialist state.

This is a prototype of a recent panel done by John, and we will be refining them as we go (both panel design and post setting.) John’s cartoons may wind up having a page of their own, just don’t know yet.
